Just in time for the upcoming ESCRS Congress, the preliminary version of the first edition of 'The Guide to Comprehensive Dry Eye Diagnostics with the OCULUS Keratograph 5M', written by Dr Shizuka Koh (Japan) and Tresia De Jager (South Africa), will be available at the OCULUS booth E04 in Barcelona.
The two authors created an easy-to-read, helpful guide aiming to enhance the use of the Keratograph 5M in the diagnosis and management of dry eye. Besides clinical cases and their result presentation, detailed step-by-step instructions of all measurement modes for different types of dry eye disease are introduced i.e., meibography, non-invasive tear film break-up time, and automatic scleral redness grading.
This guide is a must for every ophthalmology and optometry practitioner keen to pick up the latest in dry eye diagnosis, and with a true concern for well-managed ocular surfaces of their cataract, refractive and contact lens patients.
(This guide is free of charge and not available from bookshops.)

The 9th APVRS congress took place at the Hilton Sydney, Australia during 31st July to 2nd August and was hosted by APVRS President Prof. Ian Constable. During the three days meeting, world known speakers discussed about medical and surgical challenging cases, as well as cutting-edge innovations in retina.
OCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH/OCULUS Surgical, Inc., as well as its local partner Designs for Vision showed the state of the art wide angle viewing system OCULUS BIOM® in its various forms. Major attention was formed by the convenient BIOM® ready, which offers an inexpensive way to deal with the hurdles of today’s sterilization. OCULUS would like to thank all attendees for their participation and we are looking forward to the 2016 APVRS meeting.
The 10th edition of the APVRS meeting will be held in conjunction with the 38th Annual Academic Meeting of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand, from 8th to 10th December in Bangkok, Thailand.
